How DigiVid works

  • 1. Place your order for a Digitisation Kit

    Choose your box size based on how many tapes you have. Pay a small fee that acts as a deposit if you digitise from £15. We send the box to your door within with a prepaid return label & packaging to keep the tapes safe inside.

  • 2. Fill the Digitisation Kit with your tapes and post it back to us.

    Pack your box with your old tapes - VHS, camcorder, 8mm, MiniDV, whatever you've got, and drop it off to the relevant place. It then travels back to us and enters our intake queue.

  • 3. We show you what's on the tapes

    Once its your turn in the queue, we send you a personalised short preview clip from every single tape along with a base quote for the cost of digitising, this stage will also include any optional extrasfor you to choose.

  • 4. You decide to proceed

    Once we have received payment we start to digitise everything and deliver your memories digitally via cloud download or on USB. Don't want to digitise? No problem, let us know and we can arrange the return of your tapes.

Simple, Transparent Pricing.

Start with a Digitsation Kit deposit. This covers your box, packaging, and prepaid return label.

  • Small Box (up to 8 VHS tapes) — £15
  • Medium Box (9-30 VHS tapes) — £25
  • Large Box (30+ VHS tapes) — £35

VHS-C, Hi8, Digital8 & MiniDV tapes count as 0.5 VHS tapes for digitisation kit purposes. 

Once we've sent you your free preview and itemised quote, digitisation is charged at just

£8 per hour of recorded content.

Minimum charge £25. No hidden fees.

Optional upgrades available at quote stage. Including but not limited to additional cleaning, AI upscaling, USB delivery, tape recycling and cloud storage insurance.
